Cool updates during November 2009

We are happy to announce that all Hints included in HintLibrary now accompany some suggestive Tips. These tips are more around subject of the Hint. These positive Hints make sure that when somebody receives a Hint they don’t feel offended or feel any negativity.

Another cool update is that we recently introduced a new category specially for FaceBook users. Please check new category for FaceBook at http://www.hintlibrary.com/render.php?CategoryID=18

Had to trim off some Hint messages

Received several requests about certain messages that needs improvement in wordings. Als0 few requests to remove some messages. We seriously take your feedback, and removed roughly 15 messages from various categories.

We feel sad about contributors who submitted those hints, but again as we mentioned many times. We also care for people who going to receive those Hint messages. Turned out that these messages weren’t really full filling the original purpose of HintLibrary, which is to provide a positive constructive Hintmoshpere. Where Hinting is allowed in a no-harm way, just to convey a good message, which otherwise would be difficult to pass directly in person.

Hope step taken today result into more acceptance of HintLibrary for our friends and family.

New Additions & Email Etiquettes

We were busy last couple of weeks with few cool stuff, I take this opportunity to update our regular visitors and let them know whats new at http://www.HintLibrary.com

1. We got whole bunch of suggestions from friends about adding new category just for Email Etiquette. We promised to add it, and tonight we added this new category with few initial Polite Constructive Hint Messages. As visitors gets more ideas and suggest new categories we will pool in and make another update.
2. NEW ADDITION: We finally have a logo that we like hope you like it too? comments? critics? write us at Contactus@HintLibrary.com
3. NEW ADDITION: We now have a goodies store for enthusiastic friends who want to expand circle of good Hitmosphere and show thier support by buying goodies from HintLibrary goodies store from here: http://www.cafepress.com/HintLibrary .
   Note that we dont earn anything from the goodies which are sold from store. But we are hoping if you buy something from the store and show to your friends and family. That conversation will sure be invaluable for HintLibrary and its mission to spread a good HintMosphere across.
4. NEW ADDITION: We also added a new Antidote (http://www.hintlibrary.com/antidote.php) section for curious minds who would bombard us with question about Spam, Privacy & Quality. Hope it captures most concerns from people in a short & precise questionare. But if there is something you still wonder about then feel free to contact at: ContactUs@HintLibrary.com

What to expect in coming few weeks?

1. We are planning to add more value and relevance to the service. By option to provide few lines of resolutions/suggestion which is rel event to the Hint Message.
   For example if I am requesting a Hint message to my boss about his extremely dominating group meetings. Then I will have an option to also include pre-created possible resolutions or suggestions that can help him fix the issue. Let say links to few good book on leading an effective meting. This option will be available only when relevant.

Wow we just launched !!

We are thrilled to announce that HintLibrary.com is officially live now !!
Not only it includes all features that we originally conceptualized, but also we finished it with flying colors. Our service works the way we expect to be, we also done basic testing against any misuse of site to Spam innocent or uninterested people.

• Stop Hint feature works currently through email.  Soon we will automate it so users can stop receiving Hints with a click of a link.
• No more than one hint can be requested to the same cell phone or email or US mailing address withing 6 hours.
• As we promised we don’t ask for registration or name or email from visitors who like to request Hints.

We are very happy to see that this service received a warm welcome already, with a couple of critics. We respect both and are working to address them per their priority. Keeping users from any unwanted annoyance and respect their privacy takes higher precedence over any new features.
